Electronic Public Open House Friday August 14 1-4 – Zoning By-Law

NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE
CONCERNING A GENERAL REVIEW OF COMPREHENSIVE ZONING BY-LAW 2005-120

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the United Townships of Dysart et al will hold
an Electronic Open House with respect to a proposed amendment to Zoning By-law 2005-120, which is
the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Municipality of Dysart et al.

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE AMENDMENT: The Municipality of Dysart et al is undertaking a review of its Comprehensive Zoning By-law pursuant to Section 26(9) and 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P13, as amended. The review will result in an amendment to the Zoning By-law to:
• Ensure that the Zoning By-law conforms to the policy provisions of the Municipality of Dysart et al’s recently approved Official Plan, adopted by Council on November 17, 2017 and approved by the County of Haliburton on May 18, 2018; and
• Ensure that the planning policies of the Municipality are current and address the needs of the community.

THE ELECTRONIC OPEN HOUSE will provide the public, and all interested parties with an opportunity to review the proposed Zoning By-law policies, mapping and illustrations and to ask questions and make comment on the proposed Zoning By-law to members of Council and staff. Electronic Open House: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Public Open House will take place in Electronic Format only

ADDITIONAL MEETINGS: This is the first opportunity for the public to review the proposed policies
and to make comment. Additional meetings will be held to discuss the proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law. Notice of future meetings will be circulated as required by regulation, posted to the Municipal website and advertised in the local newspapers.

THE SUBJECT LANDS, being the entirety of lands within the limits of the Municipality of Dysart et al, are not the subject of any other applications under the Planning Act that relate
directly to the Comprehensive Zoning By-law update. As the by-law amendments and replacement schedules/mapping applies to lands within the entire Municipality, no key map has been provided herein.
