We were very fortunate to have had Island C donated to the KLCOA in late 2008. The island is approximately 5 acres; it is in the west basin of the lake and is very much in its natural state. You can find it on the lake map at www.kennisis.ca. As we worked toward having Norah’s Island included in the Haliburton Land Trust properties, the KLCOA lands committee developed a set of guiding principals for Norah’s Island. It was donated to the Association with the covenant that the Island cannot be developed. At the Workshop on July 11, we will be initiating a similar process for Island C. If you are interested in participating please contact Jim Prince. |

The property may be used by the general public in a reasonable manner consistent with the Management Agreement between the owner, Haliburton Highlands Land Trust and the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners’ Association (KLCOA). A full text of the agreement can be found at www.klcoa.org |
